Diversified acquires Texas firm

MOUNT PROSPECT — Diversified Foodservice Supply announced it has acquired Lundco Supply, a replacement parts and supplies distributor based in Houston, Texas. Terms of the acquisition were not announced. The transaction will merge Lundco with DFSI’s AllPoints Foodservice Parts & Supplies brand, creating a new sales and distribution facility in Houston. The new facility will initially support the Lundco/AllPoints merger but will soon support the distribution requirements of all DFSI brands, including Franklin Machine Products, Tundra Restaurant Supply, Restaurant Parts & More, DSI Parts, Mill Hardware, and Restaurant Discount Warehouse. The addition improves the company’s distribution footprint in Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma.

HealthTrust honors Medline

MUNDELEIN — HealthTrust, whose membership is made up of health care facilities across the continuum of care, has selected Medline as its Supplier of the Year. As both a manufacturer and distributor of more than 350,000 products and clinical solutions, Medline delivers medical products, clinical solutions and operational efficiencies for HealthTrust members. “Across dozens of contracts, Medline has delivered immediate and sustained value for members and supported compliance to our committed model,” said HealthTrust COO Michael Berryhill. Medline has more than 40 distribution centers located throughout the country to ensure HealthTrust members can receive products when and where they need them. “As our relationship with HealthTrust expands each year, we remain nimble and attentive to the needs of members,” said Jeff Fair, vice president, national accounts at Medline.

Athletico names new exec

OAK BROOK — Athletico Physical Therapy appointed Adam Low as its new chief revenue officer. Low will be responsible for aligning all revenue-related functions in order to enhance the organizational processes, infrastructure and growth strategies. Reporting to CEO Mark Kaufman, Low’s primary responsibility will be to execute on the company’s annual business plan. Low has been part of the Athletico Physical Therapy team for the past five years. During his tenure, Adam has worked with Athletico’s senior leadership team to implement strategic and operational initiatives across the entire business. Low holds a bachelor’s in business administration from George Washington University with a major in Marketing and a minor in Sports Management. Low spent 15 years in the health care industry, including United Healthcare of Illinois, where he worked for five years at executive levels in both network development and sales.

Dimension Design buys firm

GLENVIEW — Dimension Design has acquired Jacksonville, Florida-based Media Works, a move that is expected to provide more support for client’s needs and help the company further penetrate the marketplace for branded experiences. Terms of the acquisition were not announced. The acquisition will increase the company’s U.S. sales capabilities, add to its production capacity and broaden the types of branding solutions available to clients. Dimension Design will remain in Jacksonville. ”We launched an initiative in 2014 called ‘Inventing the Future.’ It features several goals focused on elevating our game for clients,” said Dimension Design CEO Mike Rogers. “This acquisition is the next step in that initiative. It’s a significant expansion of services that complement our ability to produce multichannel experiences.”
