One Book, One Community: 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, Indian Trails Public Library, 70 W. Dundee Road, Buffalo Grove. Vernon Area Public Library District, Indian Trails Public Library District and Cook Memorial Public Library District invite patrons to participate in One Book, One Community: Connecting Across Cultures. Our goal is to promote literacy, intercultural understanding, and foster a sense of community by bringing these library districts together through literature. Celebrate One Book, One Community at our Kick Off Event. The first 50 people will receive a free copy of the book “The Story Hour.” After that, members can check out additional copies from the collection. No registration required. Free.
