Meet Walter, a 7-year-old Jack Russell terrier with the cutest nub of a tail, always wagging. Not to brag, but his ears are also adorable. Walter knows some commands, he loves to play fetch and he is always ready for a long walk. Kids are not really his thing, but active, fun-loving people would be great.

• Robyn is an adorable, 2-year-old, brown tabby cat, so very small and dainty. She gets along great with other cats and is ready to be a playful member of her new human and feline family.

• Gopher is a 2½-year-old white cat with a few brown tabby spots and the cutest cheeks. He is quite a talker and just can’t get enough petting.

Just One Day is on June 11. This is a day where no-kill facilities work with their communities and animal control facilities in order to make it a no-kill day for all animals in shelters across the country.
