Seventh-graders from St. Peter Lutheran School in Arlington Heights took home four gold awards and one bronze award from the Illinois Junior Academy of Science state science fair competition held at Millikin University in Decatur. They qualified to participate after placing in the top category at the Regional Science Fair held in March. More than 1,200 students from schools across the state took part in the competition.
