Aurora residents can shop for locally grown, just-picked produce, artisan cheeses, Old World breads and a diverse selection of handcrafted products at Illinois’ oldest farmers market, founded in 1912.
The Aurora’s Farmers Market Downtown will be from 8 a.m. until noon Saturdays, June 11 to Oct. 15, at the Aurora Transportation Center, 233 N. Broadway.
The market is more than a place to buy vegetables. Kick off your Saturday morning with a mini-festival of socializing, food and music. LINK is accepted and offers a double value bonus to patrons at all three Aurora markets.
The Aurora’s Farmers Market West will be noon to 5 p.m. Wednesdays, July 6 to Sept. 28, at West Aurora Plaza, 1901 W. Galena Blvd.
The Aurora’s Farmers Market East will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursdays, July 7 to Aug. 25, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 701 S. Eola Road.
