The Rotary Club of Buffalo Grove is hosting its second annual Beer Festival and invites beer enthusiasts to sample an array of Midwestern craft beers. In addition to complimentary appetizers, there will be exciting sampling opportunities from some of the most notable craft breweries including Lagunitas, Founders, Firestone Walker and Revolution Brewing. The first 100 guests will also receive a complimentary bottle opener with paid admission. Proceeds benefit the local and global works of the Rotary Club of Buffalo Grove. The Relay For Life of Barrington: 5 p.m. Friday, June 10, Barrington High School, 616 W. Main St., Barrington. Relay For Life raises funds for the American Cancer Society and honors individuals who have fought bravely against cancer. Survivors, their families and all those who have been affected by this disease come together to walk, run and celebrate to create a united network of support and dedication.
