Do you know someone special who has served in our military and want to honor their service?

The Prospect Heights Honoring Our Heroes Banner Program allows residents to sponsor a personalized Hero Banner honoring the military service of veterans.

Hero banners are $235 each, are printed on durable canvas and are 8 feet tall by two and one-half feet wide.

Banner applications submitted before March 24 will be entered into a drawing for a chance to get the banner for free. Drawing will be held during the March 27 city council regular meeting at city hall.

Drawing winners will also have their banners displayed along the Milwaukee Avenue Tourism District from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Banners will be returned to sponsors upon removal. Purchase of a banner does not guarantee it will be displayed.
