Puig posts partying videos:

Yasiel Puig has found the party in the Pacific Coast League. Days after a demotion to the minors, the unpredictable Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder posted videos to his Snapchat account Monday night of him partying with his new Triple-A teammates. The series of videos came after Oklahoma City’s 3-2 loss at the Iowa Cubs. Puig began by posting a video of him shirtless in the team’s locker room, smiling and saying: “It’s so funny. We lose today, and everybody’s happy.” Videos posted later showed Puig and his teammates dancing, singing and chanting, often using profanity. A banner on one of the videos reads, “I Love this Team.” “We are aware of what Yasiel posted on social media last night and while we are disappointed in his and some of our other players’ judgment, this is a matter we will address internally,” Andrew Friedman, Dodgers president of baseball operations, said.

Ortiz bobblehead scrapped:

BOSTON — The Boston Red Sox canceled a David Ortiz bobblehead promotion Tuesday night when the figurine turned out to be “racially insensitive,” said team president Sam Kennedy. The bobblehead depicts Ortiz addressing fans at Fenway Park following the Boston Marathon bombings, but Kennedy says it didn’t much resemble the retiring slugger and was not fit for distribution. “My two immediate reactions were first, it was a really inaccurate portrayal of what he looks like,” Kennedy told The Associated Press. “My personal reaction was it was offensive and, to me, kind of appeared racially insensitive. I just had a bad reaction.”

WASHINGTON — Francisco Lindor singled to break up Max Scherzer’s no-hit bid and scored in the seventh inning, and Trevor Bauer pitched the Cleveland Indians to a 3-1 win over the Washington Nationals on Tuesday night. Jose Ramirez went 2 for 4 with an RBI double in the seventh and an RBI single in the ninth. Lonnie Chisenhall drove in Ramirez in the seventh while Cleveland cracked Scherzer after Bauer kept the Nationals at bay.

Francona sits out:

WASHINGTON — Terry Francona did not manage the Cleveland Indians in Tuesday night’s game against the Washington Nationals after complaining of chest pain while speaking to reporters before the game. The Indians say Francona was examined by the Nationals Park EMT and remained at the stadium. They added that Francona was feeling better at first pitch and was not expected to need to go to the hospital.

Slammers outslug Boomers:

The Schaumburg Boomers allowed the Joliet Slammers to score 9 unanswered runs in the middle three innings to tally a 10-2 win in the opener of a three-game series on Tuesday night.

Timber Rattlers stun Cougars:

The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers scored 5 runs in the bottom of the ninth Tuesday in Appleton to shock Kane County and end the Cougars’ eight-game winning streak. For the visiting Cougars (20-25, 53-61), it was only the fourth time this season they had surrendered a lead after the eighth inning. The Cougars led 6-2 before Wisconsin (22-23, 56-59) stormed back to take a 7-6 victory. Cougars right-hander Emilio Vargas (4-5) gave up just 2 runs in 6 innings on the mound, and was supported by home runs from Marcus Wilson and Trevor Mitsui. Wisconsin’s opened with ninth with a double, a single and another double, followed by a hit batter, a walk and a wild pitch.
