The eighth annual Art & Soul on the Fox will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 7, at DuPage Court, South Grove Avenue and Spring Street in downtown Elgin. It also will feature work inside Elgin Artspace Lofts. Admission is free. Featuring more than 70 juried artists and artisans in canvas, sculpture, photography, jewelry, ceramics, fiber art, and mixed media. A children’s stage and activities area will offered. 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.: Benjamin Rocha performs in the Elgin Artspace Lofts Gallery

6 to 7 p.m.: Dave Newton Music performs in the Elgin Artspace Lofts Gallery

5 to 5:30 p.m.: Steve Barnes & the Hazy Sparrow combine the sounds of Americana and jam on the main stage

1 to 2 p.m.: Strings of Silk, with strolling violinist Jennifer Silk, will perform in the Elgin Artspace Lofts Gallery, then rove throughout the booth area

1:15 to 1:40 p.m.: STEPS Academy’s Move-U Company Dance from the Taylor YMCA will perform on the main stage

2 to 3 p.m.: Singer and songwriter Curtis Evans on the main stage

3 to 4 p.m.: Spring Valley Chorus perform in the Elgin Artspace Lofts Gallery, then rove throughout the booth area

4 to 5 p.m.: New Hope Baptist Choir performs on the main stage
