While shooting a story on the seed sorting facility at Rollins Savannah in Grayslake, I wanted to show a detail of the tiny seeds they were gathering. By framing the fingers holding the seeds in front of a black background and shooting with a longer lens at a smaller aperture, I made the seeds pop out.
