Cary firefighters were called between 3 and 4 p.m. to respond to a crash on the 800 block of Three Oaks Road, where a vehicle rear-ended a school bus while it was parked at a bus stop. Four Deer Path Elementary students were on the bus, District 26 Superintendent Brian Coleman said in an email Wednesday evening. “Two students were picked up by parents at the scene, and the other two were safely delivered home by a second bus,” Coleman said. “All are home safe and sound.”
