Self-Defense Training for Adults, Teens, and Youth

The Brave Way Self-defense Training is easy to learn and doesn’t require constant practice or years of training, and works regardless of age, size, strength, speed, skill or physical ability. Engineering Night

• 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, College of Lake County, 19351 W. Washington St., Grayslake. Learn about careers in engineering and computer science and meet with representatives from area engineering schools in the Lower Level C Wing on the CLC Grayslake Campus. From 5:30-6:50 p.m., students can mix and mingle with professional engineers to learn about the various engineering professions such as civil, electrical, mechanical, chemical, etc. At 7 p.m., keynote speaker Dr. Federico Sciammarella of the mechanical engineering department at Northern Illinois University will present “How to Join the 3-D Printing Revolution.” From 7:45-9:30 p.m., students and their parents may visit classrooms to learn more about the college and university programs.
