Garry Marshall, the director of “Pretty Woman” and creator of “Happy Days” died Tuesday, reports say. He was 81.

Publicist Michelle Bega said Marshall died in at a hospital in Burbank, California of complications from pneumonia after having a stroke.

Marshall’s most recent film, “Mother’s Day,” was released in April and reunited him with “Pretty Woman” star Julia Roberts.

He developed and created 14 different TV series during his career, including “The Odd Couple,” “Mork & Mindy,” and “Laverne & Shirley,” in which his sister Penny was one of the stars.

Marshall earned five Emmy Award nominations and was the recipient of the Producers Guild of America’s Lifetime Achievement Award in Television in 1998.
