• Thieves stole a cellphone between 3:15 and 4:30 p.m. Jan. 4 after it was delivered to a front porch on the 1900 block of Blue Heron Circle.

• Thieves stole a Nativity scene valued at $50 around 2:34 p.m. Dec. 30 out of the front yard at a home on the 200 block of Burnside Circle.

• Burglars stole a purse, cellphone, wallet and other belongings around 9:17 p.m. Jan. 13 out of an unlocked vehicle on the 100 block of South Crest Avenue. Value was estimated at $519.

Elk Grove Village

• Jose Rojas-Alcocer, 22, of the 1500 block of Cypress Avenue, Hanover Park, was arrested around 12:20 p.m. Jan. 4 at the courthouse, 2121 Euclid Ave., Rolling Meadows, and charged with two counts of burglary. His court date is Feb. 21.

Hanover Park

• Thieves stole a Bobcat snow pusher and bucket around 10:30 p.m. Jan. 13 out of a business lot at 2040 Army Trail Road.

Hoffman Estates

• Thieves broke off and stole the rear window wiper between 7:30 p.m. Jan. 5 and 7:15 a.m. Jan. 6 from a 2016 Nissan Rogue in an apartment lot on the 1800 block of Jamestown Circle. Value was estimated at $25.

Schaumburg

• Laponsha Holloway, 28, of the 600 block of West 48th Place, Chicago, was arrested around 5:46 p.m. Jan. 3 at Sephora in Woodfield Mall and charged with retail theft and possession of theft detection remover. The report said a security agent saw her take cosmetics valued at $280. Her court date is Jan. 25.
