There are 149 Bath Planet dealers across the U.S. The company offers bathroom remodeling and acrylic bath system solutions that can be installed in one day.
Daimler tabs Tenneco system
LAKE FOREST — Tenneco will supply clean air technologies on the new Daimler NRM engine family, which is featured on the German automaker’s 2016 E-Class, C-Class and 2017 S-class global platforms. According to Daimler, the four-cylinder diesel engine delivers around 13 percent lower fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, with all aftertreatment technologies configured directly onto the engine in a close-coupled position to enable greater fuel economy. Tenneco is supplying the complete hot-end aftertreatment system for diesel applications, which includes the Diesel Oxidation Catalyst, the mixer and the SCR-Coated Diesel Particulate Filter with an SCR substrate in a fully-assembled module with sensors. Daimler manufactures Mercedes-Benz autos and vans, as well as Daimler commercial trucks and buses. Product engineering and development was conducted at Tenneco’s global clean air engineering center in Edenkoben, Germany. Tenneco produces the aftertreatment system at its manufacturing facility in Stanowice, Poland.
Inland buys Alabama building
OAK BROOK — Inland Real Estate Acquisitions announced it has acquired The Radiology Clinic, a 39,500-square-foot medical office building located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Originally constructed in 1991 and renovated in 2005, the property is located at 208 McFarland Circle North in Tuscaloosa. Founded in the 1940s, the practice has operated in the same west central Alabama location for 25 years and has grown to 22 physicians and 88 employees. “The Radiology Clinic’s ideal location across the river from the University of Alabama and situated in between the Northport Medical Center and the DCH Regional Medical Center provides more than 100,000 people within a five-mile radius with convenient access to meet their health care and medical needs,” said Matthew Tice, Inland Real Estate Acquisitions senior vice president, who facilitated the transaction on behalf of an Inland affiliate.
SFI finishes sports field
WARRENVILLE — Sports Field Holdings completed the first field at Eau Claire High School, one of eight fields to be installed for Richland County School District One, in Columbia, South Carolina. Richland One is a nationally accredited school district and South Carolina’s ninth largest district, with over 23,000 students and represents 50 counties. The district is made up of 52 schools and special centers, and stretches over 480 square miles and encompasses urban, suburban and rural communities. The new field features design and engineering improvements that provide a safer, faster, better performing, and cooler surface for the students of the district. “Richland County School District One represents our largest contract to date at $5.7 million,” said Sports Field CEO Jeromy Olson.
