• Vandals shattered the rear hatchback window between 11 p.m. Nov. 27 and 8:30 a.m. Nov. 28 on a 2004 Dodge Durango in a driveway on the 200 block of Raupp Boulevard. Damage was estimated at $150.

Des Plaines

• Michael A. Freeh, 46, of the 2900 block of Curtis Street, Des Plaines, was arrested around 11:30 p.m. Nov. 23 at his home and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting a peace officer. A court date is Jan. 4.

• James P. Jones, 24, of the 1700 block of Bristol Walk, Hoffman Estates, was arrested around 9:06 p.m. Nov. 26 on the 400 block of West Enterprise Drive, Mount Prospect, and charged with obstructing and resisting a peace officer. His court date is Jan. 4.

• Glenn H. Stade, 51, last known address on the 1100 block of East Northwest Highway, Palatine, was arrested around 2:32 p.m. Nov. 24 on the 800 block of South River Road and charged with criminal damage to vehicle. His court date is Jan. 11.

• Thieves stole two leaf blowers and a chain saw between 9 and 11 a.m. Nov. 25 out of a parking lot on the 2000 block of Rand Road. • Burglars stole a GPS unit between 6 and 8:30 p.m. Nov. 25 out of an unlocked Toyota Camry in an alley on the 1500 block of East Algonquin Road. Offenders tossed a lit 6-inch smoke bomb into the vehicle that burned the front seats and caused other damage to the car.

• Thieves stole a 2016 silver Toyota Sienna minivan between Oct. 27 and Nov. 21 from a back lot at Advantage Rent A car, 2170 Mannheim Road.

Mount Prospect

• Burglars broke a door lock between Nov. 18 and 22 at a home on the 1200 block of Green Acres, ransacked the master bedroom and stole Indian tribal costume jewelry out of the bedroom and two pocket cameras out of an office room.

• Thieves stole a diamond wedding ring valued at $2,000 between 8 p.m. Nov. 21 and 8 a.m. Nov. 23 out of a home on the 1000 block of Stevenson Lane.

• A male shoplifter was seen hiding a portable Bluetooth speaker valued at $150 in his shirt around 8:26 p.m. Nov. 17 at Kohl’s, 1500 S. Elmhurst Road. He dropped it in the parking lot and fled when confronted by two security agents.

Prospect Heights

• Pastor F. Mena, 59, of the 0-100 block of South Wolf Road, Wheeling, was arrested Nov. 22 in a mall lot, 1204 N. Elmhurst Road, and charged with felony burglary. The report said he entered an unlocked 2014 Chevrolet hatchback and took the key left in the ignition. His court date is Dec. 15.
