Press is deceptive about being objective
So the “truth tellers” in the press (local, state and national levels) are now concerned about the press being demonized and democracy undermined. Are there no bounds to their hypocrisy?
For years, many in the press have walked away from their responsibility to uphold the First Amendment (Freedom of the Press) by slanting news articles to liberal viewpoints.
To illustrate just one example: any one against ILLEGAL immigration is immediately condemned as being racist. Why — because the publication conveniently omits the word “illegal” in its reporting of the story and the reader is therefore given the impression that racism is at work.
As Denzel Washington recently stated, “If you do not read the newspapers, you are uninformed. If you read the newspapers, you are misinformed.”
Yes, all papers are imperfect and can be forgiven for this imperfection. But deliberately slanting the news to a liberal viewpoint is not being imperfect. Rather, it is deceptive reporting and for that they cannot be forgiven. The press, by design, has not been true to its Constitutional responsibility to “objectively report the news.”
Now that the liberal bias has been finally exposed to the public, the press climbs on its high horse to proclaim that the First Amendment and our democracy are being undermined. If they ever begin to report the news objectively, respect for the press will return and freedom of the press will be upheld as intended by the Founding Fathers.

Giving people jobs here
Ford has decided to expand operations in the U.S. instead of Mexico. I don’t know about you, but I like the idea and policies that put people in jobs instead of putting them on welfare. That one sentence pretty much expresses my view on our economy. Thank you, Ford.

Ready, shoot, aim
Donald Trump, who apparently can only speak in sound bites, shows his muscle by blasting General Motors in a tweet and threatening them with border taxes when they bring their Mexican-made Chevy Cruze automobile model into the U.S. Sounds tough on business, and pro-jobs, but as always, Trump is soft on facts. General Motors makes most of the Cruze models in Ohio, and only the hatchbacks are made in Mexico. With Trump, it’s always a case of ready, shoot, aim.
