GOP must support Trump
It appears that Mr. Trump will be the GOP Nominee for president. Like many, he was not my choice to be the nominee but he is now.
In recent days, we have heard of several GOP ‘Establishment’ elected officials say that they may not support the presumed nominee. These longtime embedded establishment officials are free to not cast their vote in the privacy of the voting booth but to say so publicly is unconscionable. How can they not support a fellow Republican when they have been elected by Republicans? Do they prefer to turn over the election to the Democrats, and if so, how dare they?
As for Trump, he campaigned against the establishment so why would he want them or seek their backing? His victory was decided by the majority of the common, everyday people, voters who are tired of the establishment of either party or what they have done — or what they have not done for “we the people.”
Yes, clearly Trump can take the course in Basic courtesies 101, tone the rhetoric down several notches and maybe he will. What candidate has all the attributes one would want or hopes for in a candidate? But, what Trump states he will do is what most of the populous want to see done and, quite frankly, do not care about political correctness at this point. They sincerely and seriously care more about saving this great nation and yes, “making America great again.”

Should God bless America?
Let’s see, we have a madman with nukes testing missiles in North Korea, the finally acknowledged genocide against Christians in many parts of the world, terrorism in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and in our country, ISIS and their world-califate agenda, drug cartels shipping their poison across our borders, gang wars killing children, and many other very serious problems with which our government must deal.
And instead of keeping those federal government issues their focus, the Washington administration chooses to spend time and our tax dollars on gender and bathroom signage issues. Talk about the camel’s nose under the tent — no that was years ago. It appears the camel is almost totally inside.
Wake up, America, or states’ rights and individual liberty will be gone. Our once great republic is disappearing before our eyes. God help America. We have, I fear, lost the right to ask Him to bless America.
