Lenten Fish Fry: Fridays, March 3 through April 7, 15 N. Hickory Ave., Arlington Heights. The Knights of Columbus from Holy Rosary Council 4483 in Arlington Heights hosts its annual fish frys. Proceeds benefit youth ministries at St. James, St. Edna, Our Lady of Wayside, and St. Colette. Funds raised will also assist Special Olympics. $10 adults; $5 for ages 6-10; free for ages 5 and younger. Soda pop, wine and beer are extra.

Library Mini Golf: 11 a.m. Saturday, March 4, Mount Prospect Public Library, 10 S. Emerson, Mount Prospect. Join for the 18-hole miniature golf course fundraiser at the library for a day of family fun. This unique adventure will have golfers putting throughout the library, between the stacks, and down the stairs. The fee to play is $5 per person or $20 for a family of four or more. There will also be a 19th Hole entertainment area for players with refreshments, entertainment, games and activities.
