Folk artists and storytellers from across the country gathered Monday in Geneva to perform music and spin fantastic yarns on the final day of the 40th annual Fox Valley Folk Music and Storytelling Festival.
Organizers estimated that about 6,000 visitors made the journey to Island Park for the two-day festival that featured performances by nationally known musicians, along with jam sessions, workshops, an old-fashioned community barn dance, and children’s activities.
