Vandals damage skating rink:

At least 25 tiles at the inline skating rink at DuPage River Sports Complex in Naperville have been intentionally damaged, police say, and now Naperville Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest in the case. A maintenance contractor for the Naperville Park District discovered the damage, which is believed to have occurred sometime since the beginning of February. Authorities said an unknown suspect or suspects used a sharp object to damage the surface tiles. Repairing the tiles could cost as much as $30,000, but the price has not yet been determined. Anyone who witnessed the damage or has information about it is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (630) 420-6006. Callers to Crime Stoppers may remain anonymous.
