Bartlett VFW Auxiliary gives to veterans

The Auxiliary to Bartlett Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 11018 recently contributed $100 toward the most worthy cause, Smiles for Veterans.

This program enables veterans — from all over the country — to receive free dental care.

It was initiated by a member of the VFW Auxiliary to Montgomery Post 7452 due to her brother’s (a Vietnam veteran) need for dental care. This can range from minor dental care to a full set of dentures.

It gained the attention of other auxiliaries and veterans organizations.
