The annual Kane County Fair will be July 20-24 at the Kane County Fair Fairgrounds, 525 S. Randall Road, St. Charles. Gates open: 3 to 11 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday; noon to midnight Friday and Saturday; and noon to 10 p.m. Sunday. The exhibit halls close two hours earlier than the Midway. Season tickets are $20. Kids younger than 3 are free. Wednesday and Thursday admission is $5. Friday to Sunday admission is $10 or $5 for ages 3 to 12. Seniors older than 62 and military with ID are free Wednesday and Thursday until 5 p.m. Visit www.kanecountyfair.com. Free entertainment every day around the Midway includes: JackAxe Obstacle Course, Magic Show, Miller Petting Zoo, Swifty Swine Racing Pigs, and Kiddy Land.
