On Saturday, Dec. 10, the Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit will present two live performances of the Living Nativity.
The performances at 4 and 5 p.m. will bring the Christmas story to life on an outdoor stage.
A cast and supporting staff including actors, musicians, choir and manger animals will help you understand what the first Christmas was like.
Watch while Mary and Joseph journey to Bethlehem as you hear a narration of the Christmas story.
This year, there will be the traditional outdoor spectator area and an additional shelter area has been added; first come, first seated.
The church is at 150 Lions Drive, Elk Grove Village, just next to Elk Grove High School, off Arlington Heights Road. Animals from the stable will be on hand to meet and greet the children.
Handicapped parking and seating will be available. Admission is free.
