Cornfest and Craft Fair/Outdoor worship: The Community Church of Rolling Meadows, Kirchoff Road and Meadow Drive, Rolling Meadows, will hold its 60th annual Cornfest and Craft Fair on Saturday, Aug. 6. The fest will run from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. and the craft fair from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Admission to the grounds is free. Meal tickets may be purchased at the door: Adults $13; seniors $10; and children 4-10 $6; children 3 and younger are free. The craft fair will feature many booths filled with handmade arts and crafts by area artisans, as well as other vendors. On Sunday, Aug. 7, a community worship service will be held outdoors, under the Cornfest tent. This will be a joint service with several Rolling Meadows churches hosted by The Community Church of Rolling Meadows. The service begins at 10 a.m. Dress is casual.
